Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
As some of you know GiGi was a drop off on our farm and we werent sure if there were more kittens with her...We had never seen any till earlier this week. BF said he saw a kitten running through our yard when he took Franklin out to potty and when I just got back inside from taking the dog out I just saw two kittens running into the corn field right off our yard. What should I do...I cant bring more into the house BF will kill me...but I feel horrible leaving them outside they are eating food out of our burn barrel and thats not healthy or good for them plus there are groundhogs all around and other animals so they could get hurt. I dont know if I should put some food out and try and catch them and bring them onto our front porch till I can get them to the SPCA and see if they can either A rehome them or B fix them and I could possibly release them near my home again and feed them and help take care of them....I really dont know what to do I feel so bad for them but I dont even know how close Id be able to get to them or anything and I know I can bring them inside because Im at my animal limit before the BF threatens to get rid of me!!! LOL...Any advice!?!?!

"Hide" 1 kitten in each room. That way your b.f. will think there's only one. If he says that he thinks there is more than 1 kitten in the house, tell him that you're concerned about his mental health. Hand him a beer and turn on the T.V.

You can go to petfinder.org and on the left put in your zip code and a list will come up with local rescue groups. Contact them, let them know the situation and see if they will let you borrow some humane traps. Ask them about any spay and neuter programs in the area and any resources they know of to help you get these kittens, spayed and vaccinated and possibly in a home or a foster home.

If these kittens are not trapped and spayed/neutered there will be many many more cats and kittens in the near future. This must be done.

I love this idea..LOL but I dont think our probation officer would like it because we have been sober for a year and a half each..well a year and nine months for him....But Im going to figure something out I hate the thought of these poor babies out in the corn fields trying to survive...I dreamt about it last night...those poor babies!!!! I can only imagine what would have happened to my poor deaf GiGi..that crazy little baby!
