Wanted to introduce our resident dog, Thor. Thor is a 7 month old Blue Great Dane who is still getting used to the idea of sharing his home with a cat. Our new kitty, still has no name, is slowly being introduced to Thor. So far it's a lot of whining, and barking. By gosh I think he might be jealous. "Why does the kitty get to sit on the couch, but I don't?"

All of ours have been terrified on the cats! LOL! They are big goofy chickens! Good luck with the teenage doggy months! Those are oh so much fun huh?

I hope Thor and your kitty learn to love each other.

Oh he is GORGEOUS!!! I love GD's
.

One of my ex boyfriends had a Dane, as well as three cats (cats came first, then Stella when she was a pup). She quickly learned that cats have claws and WILL use them,
. She'd play with the youngest of his cats (very gently) and basically stayed away from the older two. We had to set very firm boundaries with Stella and it helped that she was raised with them since she was about 10wks. Really though the cats did most of the teaching,
.
