I'm arriving at your house for dinner tonight. What's on the menu?

Since I'm heading to your house I don't have to cook.
But if you were to show up tonight, I'm sure my DH will be grilling something yummy.

Well, I was planning to eat pot pies for dinner, but since I don't have enough to share, we'll have to either cook some burgers on the skillet or go out for a pizza.

Looks like no home cooking for you tonight, Eva!

Since I am still recouperating from my hospital stay, it'll be something from a local eatery. Arby's?

Edit - looks like you'll get some home cooking from Rigel and Gema.

It's a tradition we started, every time we go up to the cottage we stop on the way and get that delicious stuff-crusted-greasy-goes-right-through-you-goodness I love SO much (thank buddha there isn't one close enough to us or I'd be fat as a house!!).

So you can stop by, but we won't be here (vacation time!!
) just watch out for the guard cats
!

That depends, if it is a planned dinner party most likely I would have asked you what your favorites were beforehand and picked one of those.
However if it is a spur of the moment invite most likely Pasta, Salad, and Garlic Bread. That is sort of my go to menu when I need something quick because I always have the makings in the house for those items.

so we will be eating out tonight at a fancy seafood place. Their speciality is Maine lobster but I have never been able to eat an animal that was boiled alive so I will stick to Alaskan salmon.

If I'd known earlier you were coming, I'd have checked your preferences and sensitivities. As it is, I hope you like chicken wings (BBQ) and Caesar Salad. I muttered last night that we were due for some poultry. DH did his little boy thing and said "Chicken wings????
" Hope that's OK.

We usually grab fast food on Fridays and then go grocery shopping. If you were to come here for dinner, theres not much here.
Chicken fingers and fries would be the best I could serve.

Nothing!

I work Friday nights, so I eat at the bar.

Though, I don't cook at home anyway, to expensive to keep propane for cooking, need it for the furnace/hot water heater come winter.

Sun, Tuesday, Wednesday I eat at my parents', Monday and Thursday we go out, and Friday and Saturday at the bar.
