New here and need help naming my kitty

Hi,

I just adopted a female orange/yellow tabby from our local SPCA. She came with the name Mischa, but it just doesn't fit. The only problem is I don't know what does. She is a lap cat with a broken tail. Any suggestions would be great.

do you like any theme in particular? (eg like human names or more cutesy names...)

I don't really know. Here's a few of the cat names from my life as I was growing up. Pixie, Smokey, Zoe, Thumper, Oliver, Twinkle, Buttons, Tinkerbell.....can't think of anymore at the moment.

My husband said I should name her Kinky because of her tail, but idk. Kinky sounds inappropriate, but then again maybe I watch too much TV.

Yeah, Kinky kind of sounds bad haha.

Spend more time with her? Maybe a name will pop in your head. Or wait until you understand her personality and find a TV character who kind of matches?

Momma cat of my two babies was named Twiggy since she was so skinny and looked like the supermodel.
Her one baby looks like a bug so I am aiming to name him Bug haha. The other one, we dont have a name for yet either. He's a tabby cat too.

I actually like the name Mischa, but I'm saving it for if I ever get a pure bred husky. LOL Maybe just Kink would work. I think Kinky is kinda cute. Hmmm...I'll see if I can think of something else. I always have a hard time with names!

It's not very original, but Ginger would fit with her colour, and is a cute name.
