I recently got copies of my cat's blood work from two months ago. I had some concerns about it and want to make sure that the vet didn't make a mistake.

Everything was normal on the blood work (CBC and chem screen) except for two things, and there are are two other things that are borderline. The monocytes and MCH were slightly high and therefore above the normal range. The MCHC was also normal but borderline high. The CK was normal but borderline low. I'm not going to post the values unless anyone thinks it's important.

My cat has been itching and scratching for many months. Two vets think it's a food allergy so we're in the middle of a food trial that is failing (the scratching continues). He also has been having problems jumping up on things for about a year now. At 11 y/o he seems a little young to be having this problem already. I told the vet I was concerned about a loss of muscle mass because this jumping problem started shortly after he was put on a low protein diet (he's off that food now). Additionally, he is prone to calcium oxalate stones and the vet believes there is some minor damage to one of his kidneys from these stones and crystals.

Would the MCH, monocytes, MCHC, and/or CK have anything to do with the health problems I mentioned? I looked them up on several websites but I'm a little confused at what I found. I'll ask the vet when I talk to him next week, I just wanted to make sure he didn't make a mistake. The tech told me everything in the blood work was fine. I have trust issues though.

help on the blood, but I think that at 11 he may be starting to feel his age and probably will start needing help with getting up on things. Just my opinion.

Just his head, face, top/back of ears, and neck. He doesn't scratch the insides of his ears and they are very clean. He just gets scabs, that's all. I can't be certain about this but it seems like he scratches more when I'm stressed and when he doesn't get what he wants when he wants.
