If you try to flush clay litter, you'll be real good friends with your plumber pretty soon. Some finicky toilets won't even take "flushable" litters (mine being VERY finicky). Plus in many areas it's not recommended to flush cat wastes, due to toxoplasmosis getting into the waterways and causing problems with otters and other wildlife (even after going through the sewage treatment plant). Best to just get a nice plastic grocery bag and put the scoopings in there, then dispose of in the trash.
