This song popped into my head earlier and I had to search out the video---vintage Carly Simon at her best.

I love a lot of 80s and 90s music, and still listen to it all te time. Some of it seems old to me now, but a lot I can still listen to without it seeming really dated. It's just good music.

Thank you YouTube for having all this stuff up!
What did people do before YouTube, seriously?

I dunno which songs would be considered obscure but I typically like to explore music from previous decades and this is one song I came across
It's really old so a lot of you may not know it...

Who doesn't love the Andes?? Listening to that makes me want to go to Peru!
no offense to anyone but for some reason I feel like late 80s early 90s music was the worst! I prefer 70s to early 80s..But of course nothing can replace TI
and pit bull ..
jk..but I do like them.

OH BTW- it sux but youtube has taken down a lot of songs unless it's an amateur recording or the artists' channel
I think a lot of the songs that are there will probably go down too

Not to spoil your fun, but I must be the only person left in the world that does not browse Youtube.
What ever.

Speaking of Carly Simon....this song always leaves me SOBBING. It is my worst nightmare.
I think it also speaks of a certain generation of people which gratefully is not my generation.

It also reminds me of my Mom and how she would pick me up from my half-day kindergarden and I would spend the rest of the day with her at work. Being one of 4 kids it was our special time together.
We listened to alot of soft rock.

Love this song and this guys voice kills me.
Can we get any more obscure?
Do any of you remember this song at all?

I went through a huge new wave faze in my teenage years and I really have no idea how I heard these guys (probably the radio station out here in boston that airs older new wave everyday for their lunchtime show) but I remember being haunted by these lyrics. His voice just adds to the emotions.

It is live so I am not sure of the quality as I don't have speakers here at work. So sorry if it sucks.

I was with my sisters over the weekend and we heard this on the radio. I cannot get it out of my head now!
