Anyone want to help me name this little guy? He and his sister, a pretty little brown tabby, were put outside when the owner of their mother didn't want to deal with them anymore. I'm still working on getting a picture of the little girl. She's more shy than her brother. They'll hopefully be fixed, etc... this weekend, then go up for adoption. I'm drawing a blank on names for the moment. If it helps, I generally prefer human names. The kittens may not get adopted together, but it may increase their chances if the names sound cute together.

Here's the little guy (the pink flea collar has got to go!):

For some reason he looks like a Russell to me and the female could be Stella.

but thats what popped into my mind when I saw the pic.

Ohhh, his coloring reminds me of a candy cane....so the female could be Candy, the male Kane

Great suggestions so far. Thanks!

I was able to get a picture of his sister at lunch, so will post that when I get home.

The other names that pop into my head for a brother and sister are Pugsley and Wednesday, (my daughter is an Addams Family fanatic..LOL

You guys are coming up with some really cute suggestions!
Thank you so much.

I've been working on names that start with the same letter: Colby and Carly, Eddie and Ellie, Jake and Josie, to name a few.

Here's the picture of the female kitten that I took at lunch today if that helps:

I was just fixin' to suggest either Samson & Delilah or Lancelot & Guinevere.
Great minds think alike!

I don't normally choose "human" names for kitties, and Linda just picked the two I would have chosen. So how about 'Mandarin' for the male (due to his color), and 'Mandy' for the female? (please note that if I ever have another orange-colored male kitty, I'll also choose the name Mandarin.
It's been on my kitty "name list" for quite some time now. But please feel free to use it if you so desire.
).

Thanks so muchh for the great suggestions, everybody!
I'll keep all of them handy if not for these two, but future kitties. I take pictures of all the adoptable cats/kittens for one local rescue and list them on Petfinder, so am always looking for cute names.

I'm really leaning toward Colby (as in the cheese) for the little orange guy and Carly for the little girl. A very loved and respected man I know, named Carl, died early this week. I really don't like the name Carl for a male cat, but love the name Carly, so she would be named in his honor.
