There is a low cost spay/neuter clinic here that charges $25 for males and $35 for females. That is the cat prices, I'm not sure what dog prices are.

Around here in my area {northern New Jersey} low cost spay neuter for cats is around $40, but I was never able to find a place where I actually qualified. It isn't as easy as it seems. I had to pay the $100 cost in full for a spay with my vet who is one of the cheapest around.
