My first port of call is the Mod lounge where we were told of this thread, and what a great thread to start my day!

A huge warm welcome to TCS, and we hope you stay with us

Thank you all for the warm welcome and kind words. I read the thread linked by Cool Cat about Hope. I knew that Hope was active on TCS but I now understand what a truely special person she was. I am honored to have one of her cats.

SunLee has two feline friends. They are a very harmonious trio and usually hang out together. ZoZo is a dark seal point wedgehead siamese with a classic look. Bruiser is a dark tabby Maine Coon cat. He looks exactly like the cat on the cover of Cat Fancy 1/09 issue, for anyone who has it. I don't have a camera, so no pics yet. Hopefully soon. I don't know if Hope posted pics of SunLee but she is a light chocolate point siamese with a less extreme wedgehead. I call her "milk" chocolate point since her points are light beige.

They make a funny group. The meezers seem to understand each other completely. Bruiser has a calm, unflappable disposition. Sometimes he thinks he is a dog and does what they do like drinking from the toilet. SunLee is very dainty, in size and manners, and would never do that. ZoZo is a little aloof. Initially, he growled at SunLee but she only sees the positive so she purred and head butted him as though he was welcoming her. He looked puzzled at first but quickly bonded with her. SunLee weighs about 7 lbs, ZoZo 8 lbs, Bruiser 20 lbs. The meezers have short sleek coats while Bruiser has a massive long coat and bushy tail. When I see them lined up in the window when I arrive home, I can't help but smile.

Welcome to TCS! I'm very happy that SunLee has brought you here, and look forward to hearing more about her and her feline friends.

What a lovely picture of your furfamily! It fills my heart with smiles, so I can well imagine your smile as you arrive home to that sight.

I'm glad you got your posting problems sorted out, and look forward to seeing you around the boards. And I'll start the collection for the addition of a camera to your life.

Oh my! I'm so excited to hear details of your fur family. I would love to meet them as they sound wonderful. We'll look forward to hearing more about you and them in the days to come. Hope did post pictures of her beautiful cats in the Fur Pictures forum and she also had some signatures with their pictures. All beautiful cats - but then I think all cats are beautiful.

Welcome to TCS! What a wonderful post and a happy ending to a tragic story. We all loved Hope, and there was so much anxiety about what would happen to her litties. I can't wait to see pix of your family.

Welcome to The Cat Site catsndogs!
It's wonderful that you were able to give SunLee a happy new home and that you joined us here to let us all know how she is doing.
Your other two cats ZoZo and Bruiser sound wonderful too.
Did you adopt ZoZo from Siamese Rescue with SunLee?
I would love to see photos of your 3 cats together.
I have two Siamese cats and our next door neighbor has a big fluffy Maine Coon cat who comes over to visit them all the time.
It's funny to see the size difference between a couple of petite Siamese cats and a big fluffy Maine Coon.

Does anyone have any updates on Hope's other Siamese cat Shane?
I checked on Siamese Rescue and it says he has an adoption pending.
I was wondering if he has a new home or if the foster mom decided to keep him.
I had been in touch with someone on another message board who may have been interested in adopting him but she thought one of her cats would have been too dominant with his shy personality.

SunLee was one of my favorite other poster's cats on here. I'm glad she has a home with you and we can keep updated.

Welcome. It is really heartwarming to read about your 3 cats. I have a Maine Coon Mix ( Brady)and he is very sweet and laid back too. Nothing phases him. I love all cats....big ones, little ones, short hair, long hair.

I tried to buy a camera a few days ago. They were sold out of the one I chose. My ability to shop this week has been interrupted by an unexpected dental catastrophe that is keeping me out of view. Time to start cyber shopping.
I searched for pics of SunLee posted by Hope and found them. Her color points seem to photograph darker than they are. Hope did a beautiful job of capturing her essence.

I am so glad SunLee has found a good permanent home. We have had discussions here about the applehead and the show style Siamese and she was one Siamese that people with either preference thought was beautiful.

ZoZo came to me through Kitten Rescue. SunLee was from Siamese Rescue. Bruiser was an L.A. county shelter cat. I have had one or more cats all of my life. My elderly cat crossed the bridge last year and I was searching shelters and rescues for a cat that I "connected" with, preferably Siamese. I had met many cats but didn't feel the spark. Until these guys/girl. I never expected to adopt a Maine Coon but when I met Bruiser (yes, he came with the name), it was love at first sight. I adopted him on the spot. I'm not impulsive so this was very unusual for me. He has been a purrfect fit since he arrived. He was completely comfortable with the dogs and household within days. I see him as an unexpected bonus cat.

I hope that you get your dental issues resolved soon.

I love huge Main Coons kitties...
it sounds like Bruiser was love at first site.

SunLee brought you here and now your whole furfamily is part of TCS.
I can hardly wait to learn more.

I am so happy to see that SunLee was adopted! I was kind of wondering what had happened with Hope's kitties and am so glad that SunLee got a wonderful home. You sound like a wonderful person to adopt all 3 of these kitties!

It sounds like you have a wonderful trio of kitties there with you. We look forward to seeing pictures of SunLee in her new home and can't wait to meet ZoZo and Bruiser (love the name!).

So glad you could join us here on TCS!

I cannot express how happy hearing that Sun Lee has a good, loving home has made me. Hope was always one of my TCS favorites.
You must be a very special kind of cat lover to adopt a traumatized grown cat. Thanks for taking her and welcome to TCS, you and your whole kitty family.

I think SunLee is feeling everyone's positive energy. She has made huge progress these last few days. She always had a sweetheart personality but was very shy at first. She made steady progress, but remained distant from the dogs. Today she was on the bed with the dogs for the first time.
Awww, how sweet is that?
The power of TCS is well known among the membership! We even have a "vibes" smilie

With so much love coming your way, you both must certainly feel it. You already have a special place in our hearts for what you are doing for SunLee.
