That is weird! a robot cat could never be as unique and loving as a real kitty. My daughter has a toy cat that looks real! it meows and the head,mouth,tail and ears move!

I agree...
a robot could never replace a real cat.
For some though, it might work as a substitute.
Your daughter's toy kitty sounds cute.

Could work for people who have to spend time in dorms, non-pet-friendly apartments, or travelling a lot, but I don't think they'll completely replace cats because of the lack of uniqueness.

I'd get one to save my poor cats from our toddler, but I doubt he'd find them as interesting as the ones that get mad when you push them off things or pull their fur .

His favourite game is batting at the cats, he's always trying to get them to play with him can the robots do that?

I've noticed that my girls sleep for about 75% of their day. I don't need a robot to replace the girls, I just need a stuffed animal with thumbs and a slightly annoyed look on its face.
