Too many kittens? or Too Less Of Nipples?

Hi,
Princey doesnt have enough nipples to feed her babies?? What do I do??

All kitties have 8 nipples. How many kittens do you have?

Princey only has 6? And the 3 on the bottom the kittens can hardly reach?

oh and by the way Princey has 5 bouncy babies

She should not have a problem nursing 5 babies. Do any of them seem to be getting pushed aside or left out?

Then you supplement bottle-feed KMR every two hours around the clock

I see 3 being pushed to the side.. well now two..

They will struggle for position until Mom learnd to position herself so more nipples are accessable.

If you have a postage scale, weigh the kittens each day at the same time and track their gains. If they are not gaining weight suppliment feed them every two hours.

I will be getting a pet scale tomorrow or the 18th max.. I thought it'd come in handy

how long does it take for the mother to learn? Shes been a mommy since 2 o clock this afternoon...
And what kind of supplement. My mother is going to get some kitten formula in 30 minutes so I would like to know which kind to tell her to buy ?
Oh and I think the pet stores closed .. what kind of formula would be good at the grocery store or the phamacy?

You want KMR (Kitten Milk Replacer), which I beleive I have seen even in the supermarkets around here.

And bottles which you can also get at the grocery store in the pet food section. DO NOT give them cow's milk or goat's milk- KMR only
