Well, my husband really got into the show we attended a month ago and today the show shelter came in the mail that he ordered. It is a Sturdi-Shelter, triple sized with all the pads and covers, the hammock and then he also bought the grooming space and backrdrop. Not sure if the skirt came with the tent or if he ordered that as well, but we have it LOL I think there is a skirt for the grooming space too.

All of the cats had a chance to try it out and I think it's a hit! LOL

The next show isn't till end of October, but we'll be ready for when it's time. I am excited to show off my Full Monty with the girls.

I never got one till recent, cause the first ones were expensive and bulky. I love mine and love the fact that I don't have to clean the wire cage BEFORE my cats are put in there!

I got my portable cage on sale for less then $100. And it comes in handy if you need to set it up in a hotel room too.

I think it's going to be great for them. Since the plan is to take all three to the next show, I will need the room.

I am so excited. My hubby is too, believe it or not....he thinks we're going to look even more serious about showing. A lot of people had their own show shelters and I just think they are way nicer than those wire chicken coops LOL and my cage curtains, well, they weren't exactly perfectly fitting...good experience to see what we need for the future.

I have the snow double shelter and the snow litter pan that matches.
I got the snow so I can change my colors depending on the holidays.
My Mentor makes all my show stuff/

I just ordered a cat show enclosure too but I haven't received it yet. I got the Itz a Breeze Too cat exhibition cage. I found it on sale so I couldn't pass it up.

I was thinking about buying one for a while but I wasn't sure if I would be showing, finally I decided to because I think they will be more comfortable than in the metal show cages. Now I just have to figure out how to introduce them to it without them destroying it--my young cats are very rambunctious in the house!

We set ours up as soon as we got it, and all the cats were in it and playing LOL. I guess they approved the purchase!

I have 7 cats, so in order for them all to check it out and remove themselves, it took a little time LOL

Have fun showing, we love it...was a lot of fun and seeing all the different breeds was an awesome experience. It was made even better when my girls did so well behaviour wise--so proud of them! My Maddie became a Champion at that show so I was completely thrilled!

Susan,
Cleo loves her shelter.
It is fun when they win.
Cleo needs 53 points to Grand.
It is to bad if a cat finals as open the points do not count as grand points.
When is your next show?
Cleo has a CFA show Sept 6th then Oct 2-4 will be her first TICA show.
I will be showing Ty the Bengal at that show also.

Jacky, the show isn't until Oct. 24, and we'll show both days this time.

I am so impressed that your girl will Grand so soon! What an accomplishment for you both!

Thanks,
I am showing her Oct 25th also.
I had a problem with her yesterday.
She had been on Royal Canin kitte food which has been fine.
I got her Royal Canin 33 which her breeder said is good for sphynx.
I gave her the food then she got hives everywhere.
That food is suppose to be good for the sphynx.
I wonder why she reacted like that.

That's funny, I also have 7 cats. My cage just got here and they were all interested in it even before I set it up... I just set it up and 4 of them are in it (my 4 youngest cats.)

Oh Jacky!! So sorry to hear about Cleo having a reaction like that! She might feel some relief if you bathe her with just water, I don't know what else to suggest! I would think though that you've figured out to put her back on what she was eating.

Neko, sounds just like my house! I hope you enjoy your shelter for the shows!!

I put her back on the kitten food for now.
I can not have her full of hives when she has a show coming up.
I put hydrocortisone cream on her and almost all the hives are gone.
That food is suppose to be good for sphynx.

Maybe you can try switching to a better food... Perhaps grain free or at least corn/wheat/soy free? Those are 3 of the most common allergens and they are all in Royal Canin 33 food.
