Hello everyone!
I am joining up this board for some up-coming difficulties. I have a wonderful cat named Shelbee (black and white American short hair) who is my best friend, in a house there is always something going on. She is a territorial indoor/outdoor kitty (she was a stray and had kittens in my grandmother's basement one of the most difficult winters in Buffalo NY-the kittens found homes and I got to keep the sweet & beautiful mama cat). Well this kitty is still here living up life in good ol' MD but now there is a new arrival (below):
This hungry little guy came to my mother's quiet & isolated country house in VA:
"Over the mountain and down the hillside on a fine day in high summer comes another beggar at the door. This time it's a spotted Tom, emaciated and rasp-voiced. I put out a scoop of catfood--the Elixir of the Gods, to see him devour it. He rubs my leg, circles, positions himself at the door. Our cat-in-residence growls his displeasure. Lloyd shakes his head; no more cats. .. What will happen next?"
Well he is now named Nibbler and is coming to stay in my cozy little townhouse in Maryland suburbia. So I am now faced with the long task of trying to get these two to accept each other. He is going (again) to the vet's tomorrow for a few more pokes and prods (he doesn't have a chip) before he comes home. *Hopefully* things go as smoothly as possible i n the upcoming months--I am working out good homes if it doesn't--but at the very least this little ball of mange will be lookin' good in the neighborhood in no time
Anyway that's the story!
I think Nibbler might be a Mau, but he might be mixed as well any ideas guys???
Thanks so much!
