Naure's Recipe or Newman's Own

Has anyone ever used Nature's Recipe or Newman's Own dry cat food? And if so what did you or did not like about either of them. I am retired so some of the premium dry foods are out of my budget range. I have tried Authority and he seems to like it, but I do want him to have a cat food free of wheat, corn and soy. He loves wet food but I give him wet only twice a day. Of course he would like to have wet all the time, but I do limit it because of the cost. Also has anyone used Avoderm?

some of natures recipes IMHO are fairly good... NO cat has every willingly eaten the Newmans in my house
