flea medication

Is it really necessary to put flea medication on an all indoor cat?

I have been struggling with money lately since I lost my second job. Me loosing my second job is causing me to move back home with the parents for a little while. My parents have someone come out and spray for bugs year round. I usually buy Advantage for Tessie but if Frontline is onsale I will get that instead.

Thanks for the help!

It is your choice, but indoor cats can get flreas - they come in on people's clothing, through windows etc. Obviously they are less at risk, but it happens.

I've really enjoyed using Diatomeous earth because it's a natural alternative. It's killed all the fleas our new kitten brought in, I'm sure you could use it as a preventative measure, I have been (and it's super cheap, but make sure you get food grade).
