Good morning all!
Yep, I am new here - was given the exciting honor of posting the Question of the day today; thanks for having me!!

The question today is about living abroad:
Have you ever lived abroad?
*If so, when, where, and how did you like it?
*If not, would you like to? Where would you live, if you could choose?

Today, August 17, marks 13 years of living in the wonderful US of A!!! I arrived here on August 17, 1996, for what I thought it would be a semester of fun and traveling.... and here I am, proud to be an American Citizen since last year, and lucky to be a National of two AMAZING countries - Brasil and USA!!

I have visited England, Scotland, and Ireland but have never lived in another country.

As for what country I would choose to live in I am pretty happy right here in Canada.

My wife and I lived for a school year (1971-72) in Collonges-sous-Saleve, France, near Annecy.

It was a great experience, and I highly recommend it.

Visited abroad, but I've not lived anywhere except for Canada. I think it would be fun to try, but I also think I'm a bit too established here to do it easily at this point. If I did manage it, I think I'd like to try one of the scandinavian countries.

I don't think I could live anywhere but here. I have visited London and Scotland, and couldn't stand either. The food and everything is just too strange for me. I love my American food way too much.

I think if I had to choose I wouldn't mind living in St Martin.

I have lived in New Zealand, Singapore, England, Scotland and Canada over various points in my life. I like living in Canada very much, it's a wonderful country. I just wish I could visit NZ more often.
If I could live anywhere in the world, I have to say a tropical place in the Carribean seems inviting, althoug I've never been there.

I would never want to live anywhere but right here, the United States of America. I've been to Spain, Italy, Canada and Yugoslavia as a tourist and kissed the ground when we landed back in the US.

Nope, I was born and raised a Memphis belle and that's how I wanna keep it!

I have been to different countries though and can definitely appreciate them, but the South is my home!
