...and boy oh boy, was I thrilled to find on the inside front cover of the magazine pictures of my Max's sire and grandsire, Jack and Steely!

I am thinking of framing the inside cover, just because.

My boy, while certainly not a showcat, has a fantastic paternal lineage, and I am a proud Meowmy.

Just thought I'd share.

I opened up the magazine and told Max, "Look, here's your dad and your grandfather!"

He looked at me, then licked his paw, then jumped down, sauntered over to Penny and bullied her out of the cat wheel, just because he can. He didn't want to use it.

Trying to live up to his forefathers in the only way he knows how, I guess.

Unfortunately, I don't have copyright privileges, so I can't scan and post the inside of the magazine cover here. Kai Bengals DOES have pics of both Jack and Steely, so maybe he can repost them for you to see. Or else maybe I can find the links to the pics he posted...I'll see what I can do.

My pleasure.......

And just a footnote. Steely is arguably, thanks to the photography skills of Helmi Flick, one of the most well known and most published bengal cats in the world. His pictures have been in publications, posters and calendars worldwide.

Max's Grandsire: CH Victorybengals Steely of Meridian (now living at a different cattery)

Max's Sire: RW SGC Bluewater Full Metal Jacket of Meridian (now retired)

LOL, Max must take after his momcat.

Thanks, Nial. I'm one proud cat owner. He truly has a grand lineage. I can't thank you enough for my - our - special miracle boy. He still makes me laugh EVERY single day.

He was running around barking at the ceilings again the night before last - just because!

These are the two pics that were used in Bengals Illustrated.
