If you do a youtube search for "Les Paul," you'd be amazed at how many of the greats play a version of his guitar.

Very sad news for the Binkyhoo family. We have a 75 Les Paul guitar in the house. I can play some but it is Hubby who can do it justice. Mr Paul lived a good life but still a sad day.

Did you know that Les Paul is in the Museum of INventions? Not just for the guitar but for track on track recording, mixing bord, echo, reverb . Modern recording.

He played guitar on the origional White Christmas.

For those who have rocked...I salute you.

There are a lot of musicians that owe their success to his innovations.

Being from Waukesha (his birthplace and hometown), it is a VERY sad day. He was known as the "Wizard of Waukesha".

Without his innovations, rock n' roll would not be what it is today...he was a man way ahead of his time, and got to see his innovations transform and change the music world forever. He was a legend indeed.

A friend of mine at work and I were talking about him tonight, we both play, so it was a sad night for both of us. The man is a legend.

RIP Les Paul.
