Susan: I think I want to come to your house for dinners sometime.... your soups and stews sound yummy.

Dinner here tonight: sandwiches.

Tonight it's lamb chops with rosemary, probably on the BBQ.

(We may not get to eat outside, though. This morning started cloudy, but we were promised clearing by noon. However Mother Nature is taking her sweet time about that, so it may not be sufficiently comfortable. Goodness gracious! A meal at the dining room table! That hasn't happened for at least a couple of months.)

Well, whatever. Got done out of the tiramisu the other night, so I hope Duso's will have some today, and at the same time I think I'll get some of their lovely risotto cakes. The beans are on a bit of a hiatus -- still lots to come, but they are all immature just now -- so I'll grill some asparagus.

Now, if only Junior would dingle that phone and let me know if they'll be joining us, I'd know how many of all these things to buy.

I dunno, Im still in the lab. My "dear" bf just texted me to ask me the same question, which has me fairly infuriated, so probably order pizza...I mean seriously: he is unemployed and at home, and texting me about what Im going to make for dinner?!?1?!^*&%&^$&

John set up his new BBQ that he bought last night so we had fresh corn on the cob, veggie packs done on the BBQ, Atlantic Salmon and for dessert we had Strawberry shortcake.

Baked macaroni and cheese... it was so good that I wanted to eat the entire pan, but I knew my fiance would judge me!

Tonight was a hamburger, hot dog, beans, and macaroni salad.

I'm looking forward to Monday's supper: a veggie wrap.

Last night we did the lazy way: ordered pizza with garlic fingers and ceasar salad. It was too hot to cook.
