Not to much tonight for me, I took some Beef Vegetable soup out of the freezer so I will most likely just have that with toast.

Yummy meatloaf (my family and anyone I've served it to, loves it), garden fresh carrots, mashed potatoes and gravy

Liking the meatloaf idea, I've never made one... I should try that! Got any tips SL??

We're having potroast tonight
freshly picked carrots from the garden, some red onion & a lovely chunk of beef. Haven't quite decided what to do with potatoes yet, but I've got 3 hours to think about it!! mmmmmm I love potroast!

We are going to DH's dad's girlfriends house for dinner. It's going to be awkward, I'm nervous. (This is the first time we will meet her, and he goes through women like I go through catsite threads
)

It's getting dangerous to post what I'm planning to do for dinner these days
but I'll go out on a limb anyway since, short of dropping dead, I doubt there's much that can change in the next two hours. It's a pasta night, probably with pesto and maybe some green beans, since there are a ton of them.

Tonight we had a yummy tea - chicken stuffed with spinach, mushrooms, garlic, onions and cheese and hot wedges! YUM!

ETA: Kieran again made banana custard for dessert!

Hmmm...meatloaf sounds very tempting. It's grey and cool right now, and if it stays this way, I think that's what I'm going to do -- green beans and garlic mashed potatoes to go with it.

If, on the other hand, the sun comes out and it warms up -- as Environment Canada tells me it will -- I think I won't want to turn the oven on and will pull some chicken from the freezer to put on the BBQ.

Either way, dessert will probably be cherries. This lot have been very disappointing, and should probably get used up sooner than later.

I am having stuffed pasta shells this evening. They are stuffed with ground beef, peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomato's and parmesan cheese. Also a caesar salad on the side...

I just had lunch - following on the same lines of dinner. One big fat lamb and rosemary gourmet sausage, potato wedges baked with a homemade spinach, onion and garlic topping. I cannot get enough of spinach at the moment!

Last night I made baked rosemary and lamb sausages with homemade onion and mushroom gravy, garlic mash and some fresh spring veggies. Banana custard, made by Kieran, for afters.

I'm looking forward to tonight's tea - marinated lamb chops, spicy wedges, coleslaw and probably onion and mushies in some form. We are splashing out tomorrow and buying a steam pud to have with our custard. Maybe some fresh/tinned berries too!

Got around to the meatloaf last night, garlic mash, scarlet runner beans, and the last of the disappointing cherries for dessert.

There's another 'go' of meatloaf, maybe for tonight, unless I think of something else I want to do, in which case it will make a good fast dinner for tomorrow.

Garden picked yellow beans, and a lentil/bean burger with sourcream on it.

Kids had fish sticks and yellow beans.

The rest of the meatloaf from last night, potato patties from the leftover mash, another dose of beans. I have a mango that's dying to be eaten, so I'll do something with that for dessert.

I've had a brutal day, not helped by discovering that a deadline I had was a day shorter than I thought. It was stated as "Thursday the 18th". I put it on my TODO several weeks ago for the 18th, and then at noon today, when I was re-reading the memo for detail, I saw the discrepancy
-- and KNEW that the person would be meaning Thursday (and attaching the date), rather than the 18th (and attaching the day). Scramble time.
It's done, but I'm wiped! So a very easy dinner is definitely in order.

Sort of got side-tracked with homework so my pork got just a bit over-done. So anyway ended up having a pulled pork sandwich with BBQ sauce, potato wedges and some crispy carrots..Actually despite the the over cooking dinner turn out fantastic. Even the kitties liked some of the crispy edges...
