Hi everyone -

I'm starting to give my 14-month old cat the Holistic Solution powder, in an effort to firm up their stools. I have a question about dosage.

The label says 1/4 tsp per 1 cup of food. My cat weighs 15 pounds (yes, Maine Coon) and I give her a 3 oz can of wet in the morning and a 3 oz can of wet in the evening (plus, I free-feed some dry pea/duck stuff).

Based on what the label says, I should be adding less than 1/8 tsp of the HS powder, then, to each can of wet food, and that's certainly hard to measure!

How much do you guys use, per 3 oz can?

And, should I add the powder to the morning *and* evening food? Seems like the answer is probably "yes".

Thanks ...

1/8 of a teaspoon per 3 oz can sounds about right to me. I'll have to check when I get home. I've been using the same measuring spoon for so long I've forgotten what size it is but I think 1/8 t is right.

And, yes, give it with every meal.
