I certainly agree 100% with this one. I like scary movies and have watched some really gory ones over the years but this movie scared the you know what out of me. I think mainly because Christian Bale looks so much like a friend of my brothers whom I grew up with. All I could think about was the fact that Alex(brothers friend) could be a serial killer and we wouldn't have a clue.

Another one we found very boring was the 2nd Lord of the Rings (we never saw the first one), and we could not figure out what was going on in the first 45 mins of the 2nd one. Our kids and BIL dragged us to see the 2nd movie and if we had our choice, we would have walked out!
I absolutely cannot stand the LOTR either.

I hate all those movies.
I thought Borat was kind of funny and I really liked Austin Powers but I'm going to wait until Bruno comes out on DVD.

Yeah I've heard it was pretty sick.

I would never see anything with Swartzenegger, Stalone, or any of the Kung Fu stars. I would also never see blood and guts movies that are made just for the "action." Barf. I also hate stupid comedies like Will Ferrell, Jim Carrey, Borat, etc. Total waste of time and money.

I love musicals! But I also like movies that are based on true stories, as long as they stick to the actual story, and movies that uplift you after seeing them. I can also enjoy good drama. My favorite movie of last year was Gran Torino. Clint Eastwood was teriffic, and it was a great story too. I hated Slumdog Millionaire.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
I like stupid comedies.
I also like Sci Fi - but am not into horror, and haven't heard of most of the movies listed here. Not sure what Borat or Bruno are?
I'm not a big Will Ferrell fan - but Blades of Glory had me laughing out loud.

I hate Sting but enjoyed Dune despite Sting.

I found the Lord of the Rings to be boring and didn't bother finishing the first one or any of the others. Same with Harry Potter. I could not sit through the movie. But I LOVE both series of books and was really disappointed in the movies.

I was also really upset with the new series of Star Wars. I loved the first round (IV, V, and VI) - but casting (for the most part) in I, II, and III made them (almost) unwatchable.

But put me in the won't watch most horror movies category! And you couldn't pay me to sit through Titanic again.

I will never never never watch a Friday the 13th or Nightmare on Elm Street movie. Slasher movies scare the poop out of me. I have seen all the Child's Play movies though (I am still wary of talking dolls
) and a couple Halloween ones.

I avoid movies with Sandra Bullock in them like the plague, I really cannot stand her

The Ring! It took me 3 days to watch 3/4 of it. I couldn't watch the rest and a girl at work had to tell me how it ended!

The Blaire Witch Project! Once was more than enough. Actually, I walked out before it was over and asked for a refund!

Anything Werewolf related! For some reason they freak me right out!

Hack/slasher movies. I'm not into blood and guts type movies.

Dunno I guess I'm just one of those that will watch just to say I've seen it

Nat - we loved "The Ring" - I don't scare easily but that movie was one of the creepiest ones I've seen in a long time. We got home and we prayed the phone would not ring - if it had none of us would have answered it!

Yes, I agree that the book is awesome, and the movie is a horrible adaptation of the book. And yeah, he's dead, and I'm sure he's rolling in his grave about all manner of indignities that have been taken with his work.

I hate slasher movies and just straight gore horror movies. I like thrillers, but I will never watch another slasher type movie ever again (if I have a choice about it, anyway).

Well since I'm somewhat of a film critic, I try to see most movies at least once. But there is one movie I have seen that I honestly hope I never have to see again. It's a movie that is so disturbing that it was banned in Singapore: Begotten.

There really aren't any words to describe it. It was a very low budget movie with a truly unique story. And it's not that it's a bad movie but the visuals in it will sicken you beyond belief. If anyone on here has seen it, you will know what I mean. For those of you who haven't (which is probably most, if not all of you), I would recommend to avoid it by any means necessary. I guarantee you will be scarred for life if you watch it.

For those of you who are interested, here is the Internet Movie Database page on it.
You have been warned.

Probably nothing, I have no standards.

I once sat through a completely terrible movie called "Blood Dolls", simply because Persia White was in it, wearing skin tight black leather the whole time.

I'll probably see the new G.I. Joe, even though I'm not a fan, simply because Sienna Miller is in it, wearing skin tight black leather the whole time.

Will never ever subject myself to Snakes on a Plane... I know too much about snakes. Many times I have to laugh because the movies are trying to pass off a constrictor as some venemous snake... it's funny!

Aside from that I've watched plenty of really bad movies but the only one I can think of right now that I wish I'd never seen was the Blair Witch Project. And we saw it in theaters no less... it quite literally make me sick to my stomach.

I'm seeing a pattern here!
So you probably watched Catwoman too?! Terrible movie but Halle Berry looked killer in that black patten leather cat suit.

Oh! Forgot the biggest one!

Amityville Horror!! I saw it in the theaters when it came out in the 1970's. My bedroom was in the basement and there was a bathroom under the stairs where the room in the basement of the movie is located! I slept on the upstairs couch with the lights on for weeks and refused to go down to the basement even to get my clothing. My family had to go down and bring stuff up for me. To this day I can't watch that movie. It completely freaks me out. And I'm still wary of basements and try to avoid having to go into them if at all possible.

The Matrix. I am glad to not be on that bandwagon when the first one came out and have no desire to see it. I also turned off Knocked Up and hated Napoleon Dynomite. I don't think I'd care for Borat or Superbad either.

Lastly, I don't like horror movies at all, I'm a scaredy cat. DBF loves them and think he can try to get me to watch

Cloverfield...ugh. That was 2 hours of me not actually caring what happenned and cursing my brother for making us watch the thing.

The Ring...read the book, liked it. Watched the movie...gave up on it 40 minutes in.

I avoid anything like the Saw movies. I hae no problem with gore, but I like my gore to have at least a little bit of a plausible plot other than. "Ummm..yeah, we really have no story, but look at this overly elaborate and gory visual for 5 minutes!"

See, I really like Knocked Up... to each their own.

Oh, I forgot about the Saw movies. I like horrors and the first one was pretty clever plot wise I thought but the rest were terrible. Also, Hostile! It was like a bad gore/soft core porno... Barf!

I know...I love horror movies, even the bad ones that have crossed that line into so-bad-it's-funny, but I can't stand it when they're just pointless gore/smut fests.
