on a harness/leash....

K, first off, Kizzy is a scaredy cat

Second: this is what the back of my house looks like:

The door is to the right of the window with 3 panes.

Kizzy made it down to the lowest deck when my husband decided to come up onto the deck. Kizzy bolted up the stairs and headed for the door, where he proceeded to hit it (didn't understand there was glass there), then jump up the glass to get to the screen at the top where I had to pry him off so I could open the door to let the poor boy in.

Poor boy, he was so scared....

But the bouncing off the glass reminded me of the windex commercials with the birds, and after all was said and done, I had myself a little giggle at that part.

A couple times yes. He had never bolted like that before tho.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Well, at least he knows where safety is!

Our kitties all act like we've put 1,000 pound weights on them when we try to put on harnesses. We gave up ages ago.

We were SUCH newbies to cats we didn't understand they're all about territory. We just thought Laz and Shel would be happy to get outside. We didn't try to "walk" them outside, but put the leashes on them and took them outside in their carriers. We had to coax them out - so we carried them to a different part of the yard. They both bolted back to the carriers (and in the house carriers meant "vet," so that was a total sign of desperation!
).
