Years ago a young secretary named Allison showed me her secret to removing lint from clothes or any type of fabric. Drum roll please!

She worked in a big firm that used a lot of these (but they were FedEx stickums - same thing) and I learned they were superb (and I mean superb!) for removing pet hair

I remember my brother's comment to me during a visit. He asked "How come you never have cat hair on your furniture????" (as if I were a magician
) (He works in an office with several cats (not his, they belong to his boss))

So, my question: What other bizarre ways have you heard of to deal with pet hair? For me, these stickums (that's what I call them) are a "must have"! I have around 250 of them sitting in the other room

When we are out of lint rollers we make a ball of duct tape and use that, LOL.

Not very effective, you have to make several balls, and they lose stickyness fast.

I like Susans idea of wrapping the tape around your hand. I don't have a way to get the 'stickums.'

But have you tried to remove Persian cat hair from a Persian carpet when both are exactly the same colors

my my
......y'know, some days i'm actually up for a challenge like that. i fall into phases where i (try to) concoct new ways to clean and phases in which i clean for hours and just let my mind wander whereever.

i order cleaning supplies on-line from a great site (a shipping supplies supplier that carries everything under thesun for businesses and people) ......they sell the stickums, cute gift bags, garbage bags, lawn & leaf bags, "have a nice day" bags, festive crinkle paper, cardboard boxes, white chinese take out boxes, custom items, etc. the stickums are like therapy for me and they work on clothes too.

hey, where can i post 5 "lolcats"? ...... is there an open lolcat thread where i can add these to? thanks
