How did you train him to poop in the toilet?

I think I started a thread a while ago on the process. But long story short, you need a roasting pan that you can bend to fit in your toilet, put litter in it.

Slowly decrease the litter, and slowly cut a whole in the pan that gets bigger and bigger.

Sounds easy, but is very difficult. Lotsa patience, and lotsa stinky bathrooms.

Poor Pillow. No privacy at all!

Wow! Pillow is very smart. I was cracking up at him "digging" beforehand and "covering up" after. So funny!

Does he use the toilet for #2 as well?

Yes, #1 and #2

His butt is raised off the seat for #2. I'll try to see if I can capture him doing #2 for ur viewing pleasure.

So no litter box at all in your house, or do you keep one "just in case"?

No litter box...... sometimes if I go for long trips, and no one is here to flush. Then I use the box. But that hasn't happened yet. My last cat (rest in peace) also was trained, and that's what we did with him.

What a smart boy! I have only regular door knobs in my place - not the levers, b/c of that very reason. Don't think Pillow hasn't been watching.....

That's GREAT!!! Does Pillow have his own toilet? What do you do about "paw washing"? Really cool. I guess I should count myself lucky we have knobs and not levers

He shares toilets with us. He knows how to use all the toilets as long as the seat is down. Paw Washing... I leave that to pillow
