it was the worst of times. So starts the most recognized words in literature history. A tale of Two Cities has sold over two hundred million copies and is unequaled in history. It amazes me that I just got around to reading it. A true masterpiece.

"'Tis a far, far bigger book than I have ever read before."

Another mangled quote.

Charles Dickens is such a genius...I start reading something by him and by the time I'm done the book is sooo marked up with passages and little quotes that make my hairs stand up because they are so beautifully written!! It's just amazing...A Tale of two cities though is not my favorite, I like Great Expectations a lot more

Gee, I read everything by Dickens I could get my hands on in High school, and reading your posts I realize the only ones I recall anything from are David Copperfield and Oliver Twist! Thanks, it's time to re read Dickens, and here I thought I was out of reading matter.
