I seem to be having a day where I'm feeling especially emotional. Not sure why, could be PMS, could be I forgot to take my meds yesterday, could be that I'm turning 35 tomorrow. At any rate, I've been thinking a lot about a job I applied for 4 weeks ago and how much I really want the job. I'm feeling sad that I haven't heard anything & have even teared up a couple times. So I've been trying to make myself feel better by singing one of my favorite songs over & over in my head. So here is the song in my head:

A Million miles away from anything farmilar
a thousand places I would rather be
so I choke back the tears and try to find the bright side
though I find it hard to see beyond my suffering
in my heart I know your plan is so much bigger
but this small part is all that I can see
and I believe you have left me here to wander
still I can help but ponder where your leading me

so I ask why this road, why this way and this load
tell me how far must I go till I see till I know why this road.....

now I want to know what song is in your head right now.

99 luft ballons.
I don't speak German, and I don't know all the lyrics in English, so its just mostly the melody playing over and over in my head.
Though the Baskin Robbins commercial they keep playing endlessly, "Ice creamy cakey cake...." (Or is it ice cream -n- cake -n- cake?) is a strong contender to knock that out of my brain.

Funny you should ask. I usually have Jimi Hendricks Red House or the Oscar Meyer Wiener Song if I am going to have one running through my head. I have a new one today. Dwight Yoakam's 1000 Miles From Nowhere.

I heard the Beatles song Hey Jude on the radio earlier today and it has been stuck in my head ever since...Which is okay because it's a pretty nice song.

"I'd do anything" by A Simple Plan.
I don't even think I've heard this song in over a year so I have no idea why it's in my head this morning.

True by Spandau Ballet. The lead singer got married this past week, and I heard the song on the way to work yesterday so I guess that's why it's sticking.
