Daily Thread HUMP day August 5th!

Morning peeps!

Welp, we started painting the new place last night. Boy is it ever a daunting task. I told Josh all our next homes will just have white walls

It's not the work that scares me, but I have this overwhelming fear of screwing it up and then it looks terrible for everyone to see.

We are painting our bedroom a dark colour too, so I am nervous because the imperfections are easier to see.

Anyway, we shall see how it turns out I guess.

Off to work in a bit, and then painting again tonight.

I found out last night that I am GOING TO SEE RASCAL FLATTS on Friday!!! AHAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I am sooooo excited!!!!!!


Anyways, since there is 2 more days until Friday, I work today and I think Travis and I are going to play tennis tonight.

Have fun with the painting! I actually like painting and choosing all the colours. You can always paint over it if you hate the colour. Sometimes it's hard to tell what it's going to look like when it's on the walls from a little paint chip.
Another busy day at work here, then an even busier one tomorrow... my boss really needs to hire someone already.

I found that moulding is your friend with dark colours - you can use it to hide imperfect edge lines,

Crazy morning here so far. The schedule imploded at work and I'm just taking a quick break from trying to get it fixed.

Freya decided to try and eat everyone's breakfast this morning, so I kept having to try and police the food bowls while taking phone calls from my staff (we all call each other at home and give warning when things are going badly) and still get my butt out the door on time. All in all, it's actually kind of relaxing to get to work and only have to focus on a few things at once.

It will feel so good when you are done though. Just take your time even if you're tired and just want to finish. We rushed our room cause it was the last before we moved in and already spent a month of weekends painting. I can't wait to see how it looks.

Mornin folks.... Back from my surgeon's appt. and have a couple hours then off to the vets for NoNames shots, Kizzy's checkup, and prolly antibiotics for Kitchi

Morning All!!!!

Vey nice day here today, sunny and warm.

Not a lot planned just going to putter around the house and do a few chores.

Spa day for the kitties they all need to brushed really well. Both Linus and Pixie may have short hair but they are sure shedding right now.

The three of them are window watching right now, we have a bunch of starlings that have started flocking and there must be 30 of them in the front yard keeping them amused.

Morning!

I'm on vacation and wanted to stay in bed and read this morning, but I had to get up to scoop the litter box and get the girls their breakfast and give Chynna her pills.

I'm heading back to bed to read for a couple hours and then I'm going to do some laundry.

It is my day off, and it is supposed to be brutally hot. I got up, had breakfast and took my first nap of the day while waiting for my first load of laundry to finish washing. I have a lot cleaning to do, but I tomorrow off, too, so I can split it up.

Morning.

I work in a home-office type place and I was here at 8:00, while my one boss got out of bed at 8:30!!

Wish I were still in bed... Anyway he and my other boss left for a walk and breakfast. I am impatiently waiting for my doctor's office to open so i can call and yell that i never got a call back yesterday about blood test results!

Hrumph.

Other than that... hmm.. just work, and I might do a load of laundry after work if I'm not too lazy, oh yeah I told BF I was going to make something for dinner today so I better come up with some ideas! Something not involving the oven, it's way too hot for that. Something salad-y... maybe salad!

Heh, yeah.

OK time for a coffee refill. Have an awesome Hump Day everyone!!

Good luck painting. I did that last weekend.

My sweet little daughter got up at 6:30 this morning. She was chasing kitties up and down the hallway. So I am a little cranky. I don't know what I am doing today. drinking my second cup of coffee, then I will have a shower.

I like to paint!! Have some touch up on my garden shed that I haven't got to yet this summer though...

Worked a bit at one clients home, zoomed home to shower and wash hair and went to work for three hours to cover for a co-worker then zoomed home as I wasn't sure how hard it would be to get Bobs in the cat carrier. It was easy!! All the others were hanging around most likely glad that they would able to walk around and not be stuck in the carrier!!

Her appt was pretty good. The doc wants to wait a month and have her xrayed again and have her two masses grow a bit larger so they are easier to remove. And hopefully get all the margins as well.

Driving home a manure tanker was following me-they drive pretty fast for a big rig so I signalled to turn into driveway and actually had to wait as there were a couple cars turning to come down the road. The idiot tanker driver was not paying attention and had to slam on his brakes!! I say smoke/steam from his vehicle as I looked in my rear view mirror. I really thought I was going to get hit-grrrrrrrr.

So relaxing a bit before I start dinner! Then so you think you can dance is on tv tonite.
Maybe a bit of gardening before then (or a nap!)
