I just joined because I needed to talk about Sooty, who sadly made her last visit to the vet yesterday ("Farewell Sooty" in Crossing the Bridge).
But with us we still have Sooty's sister Charlie (13 years old, tabby, adopted 7 years ago after being rescued by the RSPCA), and Danny (7 years old, big, splodgy and shaggy, adopted 2 years ago when we found him living rough on the streets - we know his exact age because he is microchipped, although his original owner was uncontactable).
As well as Sooty (a tiny black girl with a big heart), in years gone by we've also said goodbye to Snuff (a small shaggy girl who we found lost and wandering the streets, she passed away in 2002 aged about 7-10) and Muffy (another RSPCA rescue, a tubby tabby lady who passed away in 2001 aged 18, after 15 wonderful years with us).
