Hello,

I adopted a three month old kitty named Bino about a week ago. He had this little bump on his head which looked like a scab so we didn't really think much of it. Bino now has two more similiar bumps on his body. The bumps look kind of flakey and dry. Does anyone know what it might be? He has a visit with the vet tomorrow but i'm pretty darn worried about what those bumps could possibly be.. He's acting normal and doesn't seem to be in pain when i touch the bumps..

All I can think of is that you've done the right thing with the appointment, and good wishes that it's easily diagnosable and treatable. Maybe bring in exactly what your munchkin is eating, in case it's an allergy, or in case doctor wants to add a supplement to the diet. Yes, I do drag in bags and cans, as well as health diaries, into my vet's office - why do you ask?

Did Bino have his new pet check-up with this vet, or do you have any records from the shelter to bring with you?

Good wishes, and good luck - but certainly Bino has lucked into a loving home.

It'll be Bino's first visit tomorrow. I have no idea what caused those bumps.. I'll make sure i bring his records to the vet. Thanks for reminding me.

It could be ringworm - reddish, flaky and dry... Sounds like it to me - are they getting bigger?
If it is, a word of advice before you go off to google it - Don't freak out! It is not as bad as it seems, especially if you don't have other pets.
Good Luck!!
