I recently adopted from a breeder an Applehead/Wedgehead Siamese mix (looking to be Chocolate-point), and I was wondering if anyone knows any possible health-risks as a result of the crossing of the two breeds, as well as if they have any photos of adult crosses so I can know what he might look like in the future?

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

They are still Siamese. Doesn't matter much. They may take after one or the other in style. Personally I like the show type and the more wedge-shaped mixes better then the more rounded Applehead style.
IMO they would have the same problems as any Siamese. They could be prone to some heart problems in some lines or they will be very healthy and live to 20's
I would not worry too much - just love your pet and get good vet care and feed her high quality foods.

All right; just wondering which he might take after more.

He's cute. I would guess more of the wedge as his head/muzzle is longer. If he was gonna be more rounded it would show right away with a much shorter muzzle.

i'd say he will grow up to be be 100% beautiful.
i don't know about siamese specifically, but with persians, if a show-type extreme face cat bred to a traditional, doll-face persian, the kittens tend to have the traditional type/longer muzzles. that's because the long nose is genetically dominant. i agree with golden kitty that he looks like he'll develop a longer nose/wedge shaped head.

He's beautiful! I very much prefer the applehead Siamese (as you can see by my siggie). Some members have had some pretty Modern Siamese which were lovely but some that I have seen from cat shows are much too extreme for my liking. Looks like your little fellow has the best of both.
