Hello

Let me get the point across first about VET... its the LAST resort... Let me put it this way, my cat had a sprained tail... saw x-ray and it was bruised... They said they said they would phone us up about the treatment... They phoned up and they removed his tail... more of his tail than needed...

So, with my other cat... 1 of 3... he had a tick in his check (we think)... where we think he scratched it, and didn't kill it...

My other cat had the same thing where his check got swollen with a tick, 100% sure on that... he scratched it, killed it... it must of done something, but he scratched it and alot of bloody crap came out... I passed out... but all of the puss and crap was squeezed out and he healed fine...

My other cat, the one who has it now, had the same thing, but he must of had and killed the tick over night... as we haven't seen anything...

anyway, his face got swollen, and then he scratched it, and all the blood came out, ect... again... i passed out... again, most of the puss was squeezed out... the problem... he wont let it heal... he keeps scratching, making more wholes in his face, where it bleeds... There are only 2 holes in his face... The problem is, he is white... blood is red... so hes red atm...

Its not swollen, its healing... you can see it... but if hes awake all he dose is scratch it... how can i stop him from doing this?

That does NOT sound like ticks, it sounds like an abscess which is 100% a case for a vet.
An abscess can go systemic very quickly and become fatal if left untreated.

then explain the area of his face where you would see if you remove a tick... Also my sister said she thought she saw a tick on his face, but had to go to work, couldnt remove it... as she works for the ambulance service

So, yeah, A tick, the swelling has not come back... I can take a photo if you wish?

The hole could be where the cat got scratched or whatever that caused the abscess..I've seen 2 abscess's on my cats..they are gross and have pus and blood....the hole also could be just where the abscess popped..Anyways in both case my cat had to see a vet...lanced the abscess and a drain put in...and meds to go home with....On the other hand if its a tick....don't they cause lyme disease ? Either way I'd be taking my cat to the vet...

Please please go to the vet - if you don't trust this one, go to another... This IS an emergency - if it is not, then I don't know what is.

If this was so gross that you passed out when you saw the blood and puss come out, then it's probably infected. And if that's the case, the only way you are going to get him to stop scratching it is to use the right medicine to kill the infection.

When you skin is swollen, it gets itchy. His skin is swollen in part because he got bit by a tick, but with all the blood and pus, that tells me there is an infection in there.

If you don't trust your vet, find another one. I know you don't want to hear us say to take him to a vet, but if the infection is in there, he will die if you don't.
