We've been fostering a pregnant stray at work. She just walked into our receptionist's house when she was bringing in groceries like she owned the place. So she brought her up to work at the beginning of this month. After days and days and days of "Oh I really think she's going to have them today!" I walked in this morning to find babies!! She had five, and THEY'RE ALL TORTIES! Five torties from an orange tabby momma? What are the chances!? That's going to be fun to try and tell them apart when they're older. Anyway we're going to foster momma and babies and hopefully get all adopted out when the time comes! Anyway, enjoy!

Papaya on Wednesday, two days before baby day. She was HUGE!

Proud Momma.

Papaya and her crew, all enjoying their first meal

Awwww, that last picture is too precious for words! It's like she's saying, "put me down, dangit! It's bright and I want my mommy! Eh!" She looks so relaxed in the first picture, and so round! Can't wait to see pictures of them as they grow!

LOL, dad must have been a black cat! And you have 5 girls apparently.

They are adorable - I, too, love her name!

We kind of have a fruit theme going on with our clinic cats. We have a Banana and a Mango, so Papaya seemed perfect!

Did you name her "Papaya" from her shape in the first photo?

All are still doing great. Papaya has decided it's okay to leave the box for a minute or two for food/litter box/ sanity breaks. As soon as she hears one crying she'll go straight back though. Such a good momma!
