This is our new cat Myka

I think her markings are so odd that I felt I needed to share some pics. She is part Siamese part black and white Domestic Shorthair. I had to trap her as she was from a litter of my neighbors outdoor Siamese. She had no contact with people and was the last one to trap because she was so cautious. It took 4 days to tame her and about a full week to get used to our two small dogs which I think is quick b/c she is about 18 weeks. I am glad I got her inside b4 the high 80's temps and high humidity.

She is a sealpoint Snowshoe Siamese Mix. Very lovely. Love the bandit mask. Though those dark areas LOOK black, they are actually a very, very dark brown. Goes with the creamy/tan markings elswhere on her body. Is she short coated or long coated? She may actually have some Ragdoll in her given the shape of her ears.... but I am no expert on breeds.

Love the pics faz, I didn't even know what a snowshoe was until the other day and think the breed is awesome looking. I like the markings on his face.

Myka is an absolutely adorable looking cat. I don't get so mushy about looks of a cat, but I'm also a raccoon lover, and she would look like a perfect pet for me!! I love my own cats, who are simple tabbies...but simply adored and loved.

I hope Myka adapts well to home life, and I know she'll appreciate all the love she'll be getting in a home rather than being an outdoor wanderer!!!

Thank you for posting the pictures!!
