Unless the ProPlan formula has changed from 20 yrs ago, I would not feed it. It dries the coats out too much. I know people who used to use it and wondered why their cats coats were bad - till they switched to better food.

Thanks for posting

In this day and age, sometimes even though the food may not be considered "prime rib" by some, it is better than no food.

Thanks for posting and helping out those in need.

Sharky has posted many times about how many "quality" foods there are out there that are as good as and sometimes better than what is claimed to be quality at the same or lower prices. If you are truly concerned with feeding quality food, do a search and find some of Sharky's information. You don't need to spend extra money to feed a better food.

Dunno if this was directed at me, but....... I'm NOT concerned about what I feed my cats, as they are happy with it, as am I. But a free sample for me is great as treats.

IMO a good food is one that works with the cat
and owner.

Posting free samples is a good thing, irregardless if one person views the food as pork chop instead of prime rib..... in this day and age, free is good for alot of people

Actually I was responding to your comment re "prime rib" but not in an offensive way so please don't take it that way. Just clarifying for all posters interested in nutrition that one need not pay extra money for good food. I'm personally not interested in poor quality food, even if it's free, but that as I say is my personal feeling.

Now if they were offering a good food (or even just a better quality) I'd be first in line.

To each their own

Personally, I like free samples..... I use em as treats...... and I'd hate to see people stop posting coupons/free samples/ and the like, because they aren't classed as "high quality" foods.

That is what I was responding to.
