FORZA FELIPE!
Well, the reason why he is getting back is to temporarily replace Felipe Massa, the Brasilian driver who got into a very bad accident a few days ago in Hungary... Being Brasilian and all, I am really not celebrating
post #3 of 18
I wonder how much persuading he needed?

Its great hes back but its a terrible shame the circumstances

Hopefully massa will be back next season

I find it absolutely amazing that any of those drivers live beyond 30 years old. I've never been a big fan but I guess it does something for the male ego of those that feel the need to taunt death.

You´re right my friend... Poor Felipe, this was a really Unfortunately circunstance of the life that he took by this path....
Even I read that maybe he can have a damage on eye nerve so this could to put in danger his return of the Races...
OF course I´m happy for complete about the circunstances as well he came back.........BUT from the SPORT point of view I really wondering how would be work Kimi & Michael!...

FORZA FELIPE!

Oh Tricia, It would be Genious about it... a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
On the other hand my friend, I was talking about this with my DW when finish in Hungarian the grand prix, And remember well what I tell her...
"Honey, Is for Sure that Ferrari at this point only got 2 options
1.- Ask to Schumy go back for the last races of the season
( If I was Schumy I didn´t because I retired very dignus!.....)
2.- OR,....make the deal at this moment with the SPANIARD F alonso and give to him from this moment the CAR!..
I belive maybe in "NUMBERS" that The spaniard got the chances of win the championship if win all the races in coming........very interesting the position....

I saw FERRARI takes the firts option....

I'm really wondering about the future of F1, with BMW dropping out at the end of the season, and speculation that Toyota and Renault may follow suit.

^Takuma Sato has so unique way to drive that I think he would be very fast if he had a better car.
It would be interesting to see all of the drives racing with same cars, it would be easier to see who really are good drivers. It was a good example when M Schumacher broke his leg several years ago and they took Mika Salo (Toyota driver if I remember correctly?) to replace him. Salo got his only 2 throphies from those races when he had the chance to drive a Ferrari.

It will be interesting to see MS drive with nothing to shoot for in terms of a championship; nor with much of a chance at winning a race, for that matter. Though I'm sure if he can get within shouting distance of the front, Ferrari's "political division" will find a way to get half the field disqualified.

As an aside, it's a damn shame it seems a new Concorde Agreement will be signed. As a fan of F1's good old days (Prost, 1000 bhp turbos, and wide slicks), I believe it has to be completely dismantled from the top down before it can be a series with global merit again.

It appears that Massa gets to return home tomorrow I hope he has a speedy recovery! He really got his bell rung!

I am glad that Shumacher will be filling in. I think that he will win at least one race.

I really don't want to see Fernando Alonso in a Ferarri nect year which has been talked about lately.

A lot of fans are going to be disappointed:
Schumacher calls off F1 comeback

Quote:
Seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher has abandoned his comeback with Ferrari because of a neck injury.
The 40-year-old, who retired at the end of 2006, was set to deputise for the injured Felipe Massa at the European Grand Prix in Valencia on 23 August.
"Unfortunately we did not manage to get a grip on the pain in the neck which occurred after the private F1-day in Mugello," Schumacher told his website.
Veteran Ferrari test driver Luca Badoer will now stand in for Massa.
