I Got an AWARD!!!!!

A little background...

A couple of weeks ago, I made a job aid to help me remember what is needed to be done regarding a new thing we had to do. All the other assist reps loved it and when the training manager saw it, she wanted me to email a copy to her. Well, I did and she emailed it to the training manager in Utica, NY. The manager absolutely loved it and called me to see if I minded if she made a few minor tweaks and send it to ALL the assist reps and team leads in both call centers! Well, of course I said I didn't mind!

Fast forward to today. I had just finished lunch and before I clocked in, my supervisor gave me a folder and letter. It was a Premier Choice Award in the amount of $25! I get to choose among several gift cards! I think I am going to get the one from K-mart or Outback. The letter was from the Vice President of our division thanking me for making the job aid. I was so surprised as I didn't make the job aid to get anything but to help me remember what needed to be done!

This is going in my permanent file and could help me advance in the company! I am so excited!

DH and I talked it over and I selected the Outback Steakhouse Giftcard. Can't wait to get it and get one of those Blooming Onions!

What a lovely surprise! It seems like you work for a good company - and I hope this helps you in your career! I think it helped a lot that not only were you being efficient and creative - but you didn't ask for any recognition, so you're a total team player. I think it's great they recognized you for that!
