Today was a bit sad. I took my five foster kittens to the shelter for their second vaccinations, and they have kept them there for the open adoption day they are having later in the week. I took just one back, straight to his new home at my friend's house, where he will live with her four other cats and five dogs. They have a farm and masses of room and he will live a good life.
My other foster, Mollie, who had a broken leg, is now recovered and was spayed last week. She went to the shelter too today, to have her stitches out and she will also be on display for families to look at. She is such a love, a young calico, that I am sure she will find a home quickly. I have told the shelter that if she is not rehomed in 6 months, I will take her no matter what, as my guys got on with her pretty well.
So a successful end to a busy period of foster-care, but sad all the same. Please send vibes that they all find good homes. The hall and bathroom seem very empty though.
