My 10 week old kitten has this strange habit of scooping dry food out of his bowl and spread them all around the floor and over the other side of the tray where the wet food is.

I kept scooping them back in, and he kept scooping them out. It happens once every few days, and sometime several times in one day. Is he trying to tell me something? He does steal my bigger cat's food. But I want him to stay on kitten food!

he/she may see the food your giving him/her as a toy. Sometimes that happens. Another thing is that he/she may not like the food as much as the older cat food. Try looking at what's in the foods your giving both of them. You might just find that the Adult food may be full of things like liver and chicken.

One thing I recomend ((because I do this myself)) is try a bit of the food. Actualy take a bite of one of the kibbles. If you like the taste, then garenteed your cats will too ((example - roast beef? eh? ))

get a cookie sheet and feed him on that- see if that stops the scooping.
