hi all

just thought i'd pop in and say hi. I have just got a beautiful tabby cat called Prince who is nine weeks old. he is currently curled up next to me in my fav chair but thats fine with me cos he is super gorg and a real honey. he is one of many pets now, we have a beautiful 6 yr old labrador called Alfie, 2 lop eared rabbits called Bobby and Beaker and two fish that belong to our four year old son, called Nemo and Bruce. Prince has settled really well despite a little runny tummy and is just beautiful. He is the second cat Ive had my first being a tortoise shell called Cher who is currently living with my parents known as Nanny and Grandad to her. My dad has always been a dog man but now I think he loves the cat more than me and my sister and our kiddies!! 'Nanny' is often called to come quick- thinking something mega exciting has happened, only to find Grandad recounting a cat tale or two! I didnt abandon Cher I moved back in with my parents years back and Nanny and Grandad became very attached to her. I then moved to a high rise block of flats and didnt want to test any of her nine lives out as we were on the 15th floor. Cher now believes she is a dog and is in cat heaven with her nanny and grandad.
But back to Prince my new little man in my life- I'd forgotten how lovely and friendly having a cat companion is. Ive done nothing but tell my friends and family about his cute catty antics for which they are now tiring of!! So I found this fab site and thought where better to share my Prince stories- so watch out for more long and rambling messages on the forum hee hee.

Hugs all

Mrs Dolittle and Prince from sunny old Blighty!

hi everyone

thanks so much for your lovely replies, they have made me feel very welcome!

Prince his finally woken from his lovely long slumber and is currently peaking over my shoulder looking at the forum! His tummy is still a it poorly and was a little sick earlier but Im hoping its just the change in the environment, I only brought his home Friday. Apart from that he has been bounding about like a loon!

I will post some pics very soon, but to give you an idea if anyone has seen Shrek (sorry I have a 4 year old) particularly Puss In Boots when Puss In Boots puts his hat behind his head and gives big eyes thats exactly what my Prince looks like but he's a grey tabby not ginger tabby.

Thanks again everyone for such lovely welcomes.

Hugs alls

Mrs Dolittle and Prince

What a lovely family you have. I think that is the sweetest story about Grandad loving his Cher over everyone

Welcome to all of you to TCS. We are certainly glad you have joined us.

hi pam

thanks for your lovely message! yes grandad is a soft touch with our Cher he gets so excited if she brings him gift, Nanny however runs for the hills when Cher arrives with a frog in her mouth with its legs dangling out of her kitty chops!

(Oh that gives me an idea for another post lol- honestly im addicted to this site now I'm on my six weeks holiday with my son I spend most of my time on here or googling about cats!- note to self must get out more and not just to the pet shop to buy Prince presents!).

Thanks again for welcoming me and I must say everyone is so lovely here!

Hugs xxx
