And you are asked to put "Rate of pay expected?" what do you usually put? what is the minimun wage pay in your area? I usually put "open" because I am open to talk about it..what would be more attractive to the employer hiring me? if I get hired? Please pray I do! Thanks for any advice!

If it's an hourly job like that, I think I used to fill in minimum wage, or say "open".

I would definitely just put open. That way its open for discussion and it will prevent you from not being chosen if you put down an amount and its more than they want to pay.

Good luck!

I always put Min or Neg, for negotiable. I took a class in high school and we had to practice filling out job applications. I can not even remember what Minimum wage is here in Ohio/Michigan, but I think it is around that 5.15 wage.
