Good morning! Looks like it's going to be a warm and wet day in Michigan. It's been raining so much, I haven't been able to pick my raspberries! At least the rain might plump them up a little. They weren't looking too yummy last week.

Here's today's Question Of The Day!

How many phone extensions do you have in your house?

I live in a small house, but I have 5 phones! One in the basement, one in each bedroom, one in the livingroom and one on the sunporch. I hate to run for the phone, because invariably, I get to it right when it goes to voicemail!

hmmmmm, I'm going to have to think.

- Cordless base is in the living room
- phone on DH desk
- phone in our bedroom
- VOIP phone on DH desk

so I guess 4.....but there's going to be another one going in the basement/rec room. I don't allow phones in the kids rooms yet, although Kendra is allowed to take the cordless up now, but Kayleigh needs to stay on the one on the desk. So once we get the one in the rec room, that will be it for a few yrs anyways.....

Let's see---there are 3 rooms on the main floor and there's a phone in each room. Upstairs, the only phone is in my bedroom, but there's a jack in the hallway that we've never used. There's also a jack in the basement that's never used.

oh, if you want to know about jacks for phones, rather than just phones....

We have jacks in every room except the bathrooms

(one of the advantages of doing the electrical work ourselves when we built)

Some rooms have multiple jacks

All cordless - one in hubby's computer room, our bedroom and living room. We have a small bungalow so don't have to travel far for a phone.

Actually, my cellphone is my "main line". The only telephone in the house is a single 1958 Stromberg Carlson rotary phone that sits on my Grandmother's "Gossip Bench".

I don't know - I moved into another apartment last week and since DBF and I have cell phones, I did not bother looking for a landline phone jack.

We have one landline with two cordless phones in the house - 1 on the phone base and one on a satellite base, both in our bedroom at the moment because the satellite base doesn't work.

Then we have our two cell phone lines.

I don't have any! I don't have a landline, just a cell, and I always carry it around with me! Well, I always try to carry it around with me. Sometimes I forget and leave it in another room, which is invariably when someone calls about something important...

I have a corded phone in the kitchen, and a cordless with three handsets in various places.

That being said, I almost never use them, and mostly use my cell phone. If my landline rings, it's almost invariably someone I don't want to talk to.

I only use my cell phone. It's just easier and that way anyone can reach me at any time no matter where I am. No point in paying for 2 different kinds of phone services.

So everywhere but the bathroom. The one in mom's room runs through the baby's room.
