The man who showed us what a true journalist was has passed away at the age of 92. He brought honesty and respect to so many events in our lifetimes: The assassination of JFK, the lunar landing, and so, so many others. He was a truly dignified man and he will be missed. The anchor chair won't be the same.

Cronkite

RIP Walter Cronkite. He was amazing, it is rare that journalists make such a huge contribution to history. His reports on the Vietnam war were huge. I wasn't born then to see them but being a history major, I've heard plenty of him.

Godspeed Walter, what a refined and dignified gentleman.

This truely is, the end of an era.
