I actually got my sweet, timid, frightened little Snowshoe mix foster boy to COME DOWNSTAIRS! AND PLAY WITH TOYS! Aw heck, it's only been a month!
The other fosters were put away in my bedroom and Ghost had the run of the house and run he did, trilling, grunting and squeaking to himself... pouncing on mousies and wubbas and playing peekaboo with a piece of string.
A few times he bolted for the stairs, but I would call him and he came back.
We played for about 20 min. before something spooked him and he took off for his bathroom hideaway.
Okey, dokey - more play time tonight for him. And I put up a flyer on him in the vets office. Vibes that I can find him a home.
