I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this, but I need recommendations for online retailers for pet memorial urns. My boss will be putting his dog to sleep tomorrow and is looking for an affordable urn.

Thanks for your help!

My vet offered me a selection of urns at the time of the euthanization. VERY reasonably priced, too.

Strangely, our local Wal-Mart has containers for pet's ashes for about $25. I noticed them in the pet department there about a month ago. If I recall correctly, they have a heart on top of a box shape and are made to look like stone.
I'm sorry your boss is losing his dog; you're a dear for caring.

Check you local phone book and see if you have a stone-works in your area. When I lost my cat Flip I got a urn for him from an artistic stone-works in my area call SIKU..They had dozens of varies because the do them for people as well as pets and they also do etching upon request.
It was less expensive then I thought it would be.

May be a bit off topic, but when I was looking for an urn for my passed kittys I ended up using a very pretty jewlery type box that I got at Hallmark. I think it might be called a trinket box. It has a kitty motif on it. My Su and Hoots are in it. Its one of my most valuable treasures.

I guess point being that an urn does not have to be a urn.

I know this is late, but when we lost our lab two months ago, I bought ours from perfectmemorials.com and am very pleased with it. There was room for her and we also had room for her leash and collar in it, too.
