My cat gets sick on windy roads. She foams at the mouth and will poop in her carrier.

I've managed to avoid windy roads...but I'm going to the mountains soon and I must take a windy road...can I do anything to prevent this?

The way up won't be bad because I can clean up the box right after, but if she poops at the beginning of the trip (the way home) it would suck to drive with a poopy cat for 3 hours!

How unfortunate.
I think maybe most of us just don't have experience driving on windy roads with cats. Maybe driving slow would help so the turns don't seem so severe? I only ever put my cat in the car for vet visits and the road there isn't windy at all.

I hope you find a solution for you and kitty.

Some cat just don't travel well at all. I have show cats and know several people whose cats throw up and poop on the way to every show, they just clean them up at the other end.
They use a large dog crate which fits a litter pan, and keep the windows open

Hmm...I never thought of that.

I was hoping I could give her something, but I guess not.
Maybe I'll try and call the vet but I don't know if they'll have anything.
