Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes and kind words! How nice to start my morning with this thread!
Technically, here in Israel, we celebrated the birthday yesterday. I think it was one of the nicest ones I've ever had, even without anything too amazing like a mega surprise party.
I spent the morning in a sweet little cafe in our rural town. Very relaxed place, lots of cushions and softness and a girls morning out with my dear mother-in-law, sister-in-law and her sweet little baby (we all live around the same backyard, so we're fairly close). In the evening, hubby and the kids took me out to Caesaria, one of my favorite places on earth. Perfect evening, watching the sun set above the mediterranean, surrounded by the ancient ruins. Just lovely. Great breeze, lots of splashy waves on the ancient harbor, and a dinner right there in a fancy restaurant, by the sea.

Im so glad you enjoyed your day so much. Ive just been reading through the site on Caesria. Its so rich with history along with modern day attractions. What an amazing place to spend your day.
