Ok, Ginger wrote me back - here is what she said:
the colors would potentially be solid blue, cream tabby, blue-cream(females)...

"Blues are the most common but we are doing well with our cream tabbies also. They also are quite stunning with the giant copper eyes."

What do you guys think??
As far as gender she recommends males, as they are bigger and seem to do better in premiership.

I have seen some of Gingers cats.
She had a cream spotted tabby male in championship and a blue cream female in kittens at the Pleasanton show.
They are both pretty!!!!
The other 3 BSH were blue.
There was only 1 female there.
There were no BSH at the last show.
I will see if there are any at the next show and tell you how they do.

Unfortunately in the USA the Brits are not accepted in the color points, chocolate or lilac colors yet. But I hope they would some day. I've see the ones from Cuddleton and other Aussie/NZ breeders in those colors and think they are very cool.

My options would be a cream spotted tabby, or solid blues, as far as males goes. If I want a female, I can have a blue cream also...

Here is one of her cream tabbies: scroll down to #3

She said that both colors do really well, and she would be more concerned about the confirmation of the kitty, and she will do her best to give me a top show kitten... I decided to leave the color open then, so she can choose the best one to show - they are so beautiful anyways!

I saw him in person.
He is very pretty and just turned 2 on June 11th.
She will pick a good kitten for you.
I have not met her in person yet but will at one of the upcoming shows.

Oh, thanks for that

If you are not fussed on colour/sex, then do just wait and let the breeder pick. Creams are also nice

That's what we spoke about it... she will pick one for me - Her kitties are so amazingly beautiful, and she has so much experience, I will be better off on her hands anyways - She has over 25 years of experience breeding them - she will know better for sure!!
This is going to be so much fun!

When you mentioned Exotic, I was thinking of a totally different thing of course
Your kittens are soooo cute

In TICA they are!

Just stunning!
Kuura meows thank you.

I was also going to ask what color you are getting. I can definitely recommend the silvers (Kuura is black silver shaded).

Usually blue Brits have the best coat texture, but the other colors are catching up pretty well! Sometimes silvers have a bit longer coat, but luckily Kuura has very good, short and soft fur. Males have usually the ideal look, so I would choose a male if I would be looking for a show BSH. It seems that also wider noses are preferred at shows (Kuura doesn't have one but my lilacpoint and longhair males do have).

LOL! Of course those Exotics are great too!!!

I'm so glad you chose the BSH. I like Blues and whites the best. I don't like the creams as much in the Britties as they tend to quite dark and "brown paper baggish"

I am going to be Carolinas Mentor.
She will come to a CFA show here to pick the kitten up from the breeder.
I am sure I will see the breeder at some shows before that.
She lives in Idaho.

I see both Sam and Amanda are laughing about "brown paper baggish"
Must be a Kiwi-Oz inside joke.

C'mon let us mushrooms (in the dark) in on the joke.

Well then it has to be a Ausssie/Kiwi paper bag, cause our paper bags in the USA are dark brown and I would never call a cream tabby Brit the color of a paper bag.
