My cat has a lot of red eye discharge from his right eye - hes had it for while now - month or longer, but I just assumed it was nothing to be worried about since he seems fine, and his third eyelid hasnt come out or anything..
But I did pull his eyes open today, and though his third eyelid isnt out, it is red compared to his left eye.
Could it be allergies or something? I have a similar problem in my left eye, its been really itchy this summer, and is often red as a result...
Why would eye discharge be red? theres often quite a lot of it too... do cats get conjunctivitis?
